Obama Rock is a song by The Not So Silent Majority which is a revolving door collective of musicians and artists that includes:
Danielle Brisebois (writer/producer of Natasha Bedingfield’s Unwritten and Pocketful Of Sunshine and sampled voice on Jay Z's Hard Knock Life), Paul McCartney's guitarist Rusty Anderson, Rick Nowels ( writer of Dido's White Flag and Anita Baker's Body And Soul) Gregg Alexander (Writer of Santana’s Game Of Love and You Get What You Give) as well as many other musicians.
Obama Rock was originally written as a protest song but was re-written and transformed into a celebration as it kept looking better and better that Barack Obama was going to be America’s next President and finally address health care for all as well as getting G8 Countries to live up to their promises of aid to Africa.
